A huge riverside fair recalling Odisha’s ancient sea voyages to Bali.
On Kartik Purnima people float small paper and banana-bark boats to remember the Kalinga traders who sailed to Southeast Asia, and the fair on the Mahanadi at Cuttack carries on for several days.
