Pushkar Camel Fair

Rajasthan’s livestock fair and pilgrimage on the edge of the desert at Pushkar.
Camel and cattle traders gather on the dunes outside Pushkar in the days before Kartik Purnima, when pilgrims bathe in the sacred lake. Alongside the trading there are folk performances, competitions and a busy fairground.
