Day 1: Arrive in Shimla
Easy evening on the Ridge.
Day 2: Shimla
Jakhu temple and the Viceregal Lodge.
Day 3: Kufri
Nature park and Mahasu peak; back by mid-afternoon.
Day 4: Shimla to Manali
A full day's drive of roughly seven to eight hours with regular stops.
Day 5: Manali
Hadimba temple, Old Manali and Vashisht.
Day 6: Solang and Sissu
Solang in the morning; the tunnel and Sissu if everyone is well.
Day 7: Departure
Naggar castle, then the journey home.
