Bhrigu Lake Trek
An alpine lake sacred to sage Maharishi Bhrigu, offering endless high-altitude green meadows.
Unlike most high-altitude alpine lake treks that require days of trekking to reach high meadows, Bhrigu Lake takes you into expansive alpine grasslands (Kullu Thatch) right on Day 1. The lake changes colors throughout the season, from frozen white to deep turquoise emerald.
Best Time to Visit
Trek through pine forests before emerging into vast, velvet green meadows with panoramic views of Solang Valley and Hanuman Tibba.
Ascend the ridgeline to reach the sacred glacial Bhrigu Lake. Spend time taking in the reflection of seven peaks before returning to camp.
Descend via the rolling meadows back to Gulaba roadhead and drive back to Old Manali.
