Kullu’s three-day spring festival at Dhalpur, revived from the old Pipal Jatra.
Vasantotsav revives the Pipal Jatra, once held before the Raja of Kullu beneath a pipal tree at Dhalpur. It is now held from 28 to 30 April each year with classical music, songs and dances, and it is also a market where people returning to Lahaul buy tools and supplies.
