Winter skating sessions on Shimla’s open-air natural ice rink, weather permitting.
Shimla’s natural open-air rink usually opens for skating from early December and runs into February, depending on how well the ground freezes. Sessions are held in the morning and evening, skates can be hired at the rink, and the season includes fancy-dress carnivals and ice hockey. Whether a session runs depends on the weather each day.
